The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) is requesting quotations from vendors to procure a Service Agreement to pick-up and deliver OCS Mail I.E. Registered, Certified all security items and documents on a daily basis for fiscal year 2000. The following areas are included: Main Post Office (Brentwood Station), Pick up for deposits at Bank of America, delivery and pick-up for BEP Credit Unions (13TH & C Streets S.W. and Waterside S.W.) Delivery and pick-up at BEP to be completed by 11:00 a.m. at 13th St. BEP lobby. Company must be bonded. The simplified acquisition procedures set forth in FAR Part 13 shall be used. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation. This notice constitutes the only solicitation; a written request for quotation will not be issued. This procurement is 100% set aside for small businesses. The Request for Quotation (RFQ) number is RFQ-28-003. The resulting purchase order shall be firm fixed price. The basis for award shall be price and other factors e.g., past performances andquality. All interested small businesses are requested to submit a written quotation that will be considered by the agency. Quotations may be submitted on a SF 1449 or on company letterhead. Quotations shall include the RFQ number, the proposed unit price, the proposed extended price, any prompt payment discount terms, company name, point of contact, address, phone number,fax number, tax identification number, DUNS number, size status (i.e., small business, disadvantaged business or woman owned business).
