The work consists of Rental Equipment and Operators for Maintenance dredging at Gulfport Harbor. The work under this contract consists of furnishing and operating a hydraulic cutterhead pipeline dredge with pump discharge of not less than 24 inch diameter nor more than 30 inch diameter with all necessary pipeline, materials, supplies, labor and transportation for maintenance dredging within Gulfport Harbor, Ship Island Pass Channels and Anchorage Basin. The dredging will consist of the removal and satisfactory disposal of material lying above the plane of 38 feet MLLW. All material excavated from the assigned channel segments will be transported and deposited into the adjacent to channel open water disposal areas. The contract is for a period of 60 days. Estimated cost of work is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Bid documents are available on or about 29 October 1999. No cost. Unrestricted. SIC 1629.
