The Naval Inventory Control Point is requesting offerors to submit priced offers and other proposal information in accordance with the attached Request for Quotation (RFQ) for Maintenance and Repair of Document Automation Center (DAC)/Copier and printing equipment (Identified in Attachment A of the RFQ) onboard the USS Harry S Truman. Moreover, these services shall be provided on a daily basis, including during periods of deployment. A further description of the services being procured and the requirements thereto can be found in section C of the RFQ. The resulting Firm Fixed Price Requirements contract is for a one (1) year base period with the option to extend the contract term for two (2) additional consecutive annual ordering periods. The total maximum ordering period is three (3) years. The Government intends to accept the quotation that provides the "Best Value" to the Government. Award will be based on the factors found in Section M. Notice to offerors: It is intended that the RFQ shall be conducted under the guidelines of FAR subpart 13.5, entitled, "Test Program for Certain Commercial Items", which authorizes simplified acquisition procedures for supplies and services considered to be commercial in nature and within a specified dollar threshold.
