Pursuant to prior synopsis dated 05 August 1999, the Naval Air Systems Command is releasing the formal unrestrictive solicitation N00019-99-R-1548 inclusive of all attachments for total aircraft and maintenance life cycle contractor support (LCCS) for the Departments of the Navy and the Air Force C-12 aircraft fleet. The scope of the work includes operation of the on-site facility, engineering support, technical support, all phases of commercial maintenance, logistics support, including repair and modification of the aircraft and engine, spares (components) and parts, in addition to providing all required materials to support 112 aircraft. The anticipated performance period of the resultant contract is a one-year base period with nine option years in accordance with a Term Incentive Clause. The solicitation will be published on or about 18 October 1999 under the NAVAIR website, www.navair.navy.mil under "Business Opportunities. A pre-proposal conference will be scheduled only upon written request to the POC within 7 days of release of the solicitation. The closing date for receipt of proposals will be 29 November 1999 at 2:30p.m. EDST. No alternate proposals will be accepted. The Navy will only release the solicitation/RFP, including any subsequent amendments, over the Internet. No telephonic requests for the solicitation will be accepted, and no written requests will be accepted, except for the specific attachments identified in the solicitation.
