Davy, Regional Contract Specialist, 606-253-8892 The Federal Bureau of Prisons intends to award a non-personal service contract tothe qualified individual/business to provide dental hygiene services for the Federal Correctional Institution Elkton, OH. This procurement is 100% set aside for small business. Duties include but are not limited to: plans and conducts oral health education programs, provides prophylactic and preventative oral hygiene procedures for patients, operates radiographic equipment, processes films, and makes preliminary interpretation to identify gross oral pathology, performs screening exams and charts existing conditions, places transitional restorations in emergency situations and assists in scheduling patients. Requirements include: the contractor must be a licensed/certified Dental Hygienist in the state of Ohio. Must be a graduate of an approved dental hygiene school/program. The contractor will conduct approximately 10 sessions per week at 480 sessions per year. Each session is defined as three hours. Sessions will be between the hours of 7:30 am and 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday, (excluding federal holidays). The schedule shall be coordinated with the COTR. Total work hours shall not exceed 30 hours per week. This will be a non-personal service contract and not a personnel appointment. The contract period shall include a base year, not to exceed 12 months, and four one year options.
