EFFECTIVENESS. POC Dyra Monroe 202-565-1154 Under the authority of FAR
6.302-1, the National Park Service (NPS) intends to enter into a
non-competitive contract for continuing support and assistance to the
Associate Director, Park Operations and Education for the NPS on
improving organizational effectiveness and efficiency from JWW
Consulting. The objectives of this initiative are to diagnose issues
that are inhibiting the effectiveness of the organization; support
strategic planning at each organizational level; assist in the
development of organizational structures that support proposed plans
and assist in the implementation of those plans through delivery of
training, team building, mediation and similar techniques. Mr. J.W.
Wade of JWW Consulting has the knowledge of the NPS, training
experience and experience in emergency response leadership needed to
carry out the goals and objectives of the contract. Therefore, IAW
authority of 41 U.S.C. 2304(d)(1)(b), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1,
the Government intends to enter into negotiations on a non-competitive
basis with JWW Consulting within 30 days after the publication of this
notice. However, all information received by this agency shall be
considered. A determination not to open the requirement to competition
based on responses received to this notice is solely within the
discretion of the agency. This synopsis may represent the only notice
