The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center Norfolk, Detachment Washington has a requirement to procure 50 double occupancy hotel/motel rooms with two double beds each, in New York, NY, 29 June 2000 -- 10 July 2000. Rooms must consist of at least 216 square feet including bathroom and shall be neat, sanitary, and in good repair. Each bathroom shall have a shower. Each room shall be air-conditioned, have one color television, feature a telephone with local calls included in the price of the room (long distance charged to the bill), and be additionally furnished with a writing desk/table with chair and a lounge chair. Rooms are to be cleaned daily. All 50 rooms must be in one hotel/motel. Hotel/motel must be within six (6) blocks of both 46th St & 12th Ave and 48th Street & 12th Ave, be within four (4) blocks of a New York Subway station and be within four (4) blocks of public transportation.
