Department of Agriculture, Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service,
International Services, requires aerial spray services to support the
Medfly Program in Mexico. The primary base of operations will be the
Tapachula International Airport in Tapachula, Chiapas, Mexico. The
initial requirement will be for two 212 Bell Jet Ranger helicopters, or
their equivalent, and pilots, to spray formulated Malathion over a
wide-ranging area of the State of Chiapas. The Contractor will be
required to obtain all necessary permits for both equipment and
personnel to perform the services. For a copy of the solicitation,

370-2106. Telephone requests will not be accepted. All responsible
sources may submit an offer which will be considered. However,
contractors with experience in similar operations in foreign countries
will be considered more highly qualified, for evaluation purposes. A
copy of the solicitation will be available in this office for review.
