Bates, Contracting Officer, (916)353-4469; FAX: (916)985-1933 Provide all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to construct two (2) reinforced concrete oil retention basins around two (2) existing oil filled high voltage transformers and their corresponding slab foundations. Significant items of work to include excavation and grading effort and approximately 25 cubic yards of reinforced concrete for each oil basin. The work will occur inside an energized substation, however, each transformer will be de-energized during the time that work is scheduled to occur around that particular transformer. Flanagan Substation is located in Shasta County, California and is approximately 5 miles northwest of Redding, California. Estimated cost of the project is between $25,000 and $100,000. This acquisition will be a full and open competition. The standard industrial classification code is 1623 and the size standard is $17.0 Million. All responsible sources may submit an offer.
