The U.S. Army -- TACOM-ARDEC is seeking potential sources for a Waterproof Mark- sman Data Book to be used with the M24 Sniper Weapon, a 7.62 X 51MM (.308 Win) Rifle mounted with a 10 X telescope having a mil dot reticle. The data book shall contain tables for entering data on stationary targets at known and un- known distances, moving targets, cold barrel firing, and zeroed weapon. Range cards, military sketches, and observation logs shall also be provided for data entry from the Sniper. A template to assist in inputting/recording sketechs and data is desired. The pages of the data book shall be waterproof, i.e., resist smearing, smudging or other obscurations of the recorded data when in contact with water.
