The Naval Air Systems Command intends to contract with Northrop Grumman Corporation, Bethpage, NY, to provide non-personal technical engineering services in Taiwan during CY 00 to support maintenance of the Taiwan Air Force E-2T fleet, conduct on the job maintenance training of TAF personnel and perform logistics support services. These services apply to the E-2T airframe structures, flight controls, hydraulic systems, environmental systems and subsystems, support equipment; CAT III/RADCOM -- all LRUs; and Radar Test Bench Set/Electromagnetic Test Console -- all supported WRAs and SRAs. Northrop Grumman Corporation is the designer, developer and sole manufacturer of the E-2T aircraft weapon system and the only source that possesses the resources and data necessary to provide the required services within the time required to meet TAF requirements.
