TRADOC Acquisition Center (TAC) will be issuing a DRAFT Solicitation on or about 14 OCT 99 for an A-76 Commercial Activity Study for Directorate of Logistics and Engineering (DLE) functions at Ft. Jackson, SC. This office welcomes industry comments/questions pertaining to any portion of the solicitation; with particular emphasis on Sections L & M and the Performance Work Statement. Please respond by 10 NOV 99. Pertinent responses to this draft solicitation will be used to IMPROVE similar TRADOC A-76 DLE projects. A final solicitation will be issued in approximately 90 days. The Ft. Jackson requirement solicits the contractor to perform services relating to the maintenance of Buildings and Structures, Utility Systems Operation, HVAC Systems, Dining Facility Equipment, Surfaced Area's, Installation Transportation Services, Base Supply Services, Grounds Maintenance, Range Maintenance, and Materiel Maintenance. The Performance Period is for one year with 4 one-year options. The applicable SIC Code is 8744 with a Size Standard of $20M. This procurement will be solicited unrestricted under a cost-plus-award-fee arrangement. A formal source selection procedure will be used during the evaluation process with oral presentations being a part of the process.
