Service (NPS)wishes to establish a contract to have original nitrate
negatives duplicated by producing an archival, film positive (i.e., an
interpositive) using a continuous tone, black and white, panchromatic
film, and by producing duplicate negatives from the interpositives
using a continuous tone, black and white film. This contract will be an
Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) contract with
performance to be scheduled by placing task orders. The selected
contractor shall copy a collection of original nitrate negatives from
the museum collections of an unspecified number of NPS parks or
centers. The bulk of the negatives range in size from 35mm to 8"x10"
but larger sizes may also be included. Motion picture film and
filmstrips are excluded. The contract will be issued for one year with
4 one year options to extend. The RFP will be issued approximately
November 8, 1999 and proposals are due December 14, 1999. Requests must
be in writing and received at the address stated above, Attn: Dyra
Monroe. The service industry code assigned for this procurement is
7384. The small business standard for that industry is $5 million.
