synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with
the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional
information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the
only solicitation; proposals are not being requested since this is
sole source procurement to Trident Technical College, Charleston, SC.
A written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation
N65236-00-R-0586 is issued as a request for proposal (RFP). This
solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those
in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-14. This is a sole
source procurement under SIC 8999, Microsoft Certified Professional
Program. There are four contract line items: CLIN 0001 Microsoft
Certified Professional Program, Microsoft Certification Systems
Engineering (MCSE) Hands-on instruction at the Space and Naval Warfare
Systems Center Charleston Facility using MCSE instructors to deliver
the academic courses: 0001AA Networking Essentials, estimated quantity
14 each; 0001AB Implementing and Supporting MS Windows NT Server 4.0
Part I, estimated quantity 14 each; 0001AC Implementing and Supporting
MS Windows NT Server 4.0 Part II, estimated quantity 14 each; 0001AD
Implementing and Supporting MS Windows NT Server 4.0 in the Enterprise*
(*Per course cost includes two (2) Examination Vouchers), estimated
quantity 14 each; CLIN 0002 Electives (Each Student required to
complete only 2 of 3 ELectives); 0002AA Implementing and Supporting MS
Exchange Server 5.5, estimated quantity 14 each; 0002AB
Internetworking TCP/IP on Windows NT 4.0, estimated quantity 14 each;
0002AC Implementing and Supporting Internet Information Server 4.0,

Consultation Sessions (provides in-center training lab technical
support for 2 -3 hours per session), quantity 67 Sessions. Classes to
begin on 19 October 1999. Solicitation provision at FAR 52.212-1,

incorporated by reference. A completed copy of the provision at
52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial
Items, and 252.212-7000, Offeror Representations and Certifications --
Commercial Items, must be included with the offer. Clause 52.212-4,

is hereby incorporated by reference. The following paragraphs apply to

Contractor Registration. Additional Contract Terms and Conditions
applicable to this procurement are: FAR 52.216-18, Ordering, fill-in
for paragraph (a) is Date of Award through 30 June 2000; 52.216-19,
Order Limitations, fill-ins (a) $500.00, (b)(1) $20,000.00, (b)(2)
$35,000.00, (b)(3) five (5) days, and (d) three (3) days; and 52.216-22
Indefinite Quantity, guaranteed mininum is $12,000.00. Type of
Contract: An Indefinite Quantity, Firm Fixed-price contract will be
awarded. Period of Performance: 19 October 1999 through 30 June 2000.
The Defense Priorities and Allocations Systems (DPAS) assigned rating
for this procurement is unrated. Signed and dated offer (one
