PRESOLICITATION NOTICE: Contractor shall provide all plant, materials, equipment, tools and labor required to perform the work necessary to complete the project in accordance with the contract specifications and drawings. Upgrade and improvement of United States Air Force housing located on Elmendorf AFB, outside of Anchorage, Alaska. Base Bid includes sixty-four (64) units, with options for up to additional twelve- (12) units. Work consists of, but not limited to: asbestos abatement/removal/ disposal, demolition and disposal, minor alterations/construction, work on plumbing, heating and electrical systems, and installation of new finishes and cabinetry. Magnitude of Base Bid is $5,000,000- $10,000,000. Performance period is 534 calendar days. Solicitation will be available on or about 29 Oct 99 with a closing date of 29 Nov 99. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency. Specifications and drawings will be available on CD-ROM only. Format for the specification is Word 6.0. The drawings are Autocad 12. There is no cost for the package. There is limited supply and will be given out on first come first serve basis until supply is exhausted. (Only one package per company.)
