Work consists of several distinct watershed restoration items. These include: obliterating segments of existing roads by recontouring the roadbed, restoring stream channels, scarification and seeding, vented rock ford construction, erosion control dips and waterbars. Channel restoration will involve removing fill and drainage structures at stream crossing sites and returning the site to its natural contour. The most complex task will be construction of vented rock fords. The existing drainage structure will be left in or replaced and an armored rolling dip will be built allowing vehicle access and stream overflow across the road. Price Range between $100,000 and $250,000. Start work Spring 2000 with a contract time of 120 calander days. Pre-proposal meeting November 3, 1999 at 9:30 a.m.(Pacific).
