Background "SUBJECT: Combat Rescue Capability (CRC) Analysis of Alternatives (AOA) Industry Conference, November 17-18, 1999. 1. The first CRC AoA Industry Conference will be held November 17-18, 1999 at the Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT) Auditorium, Bldg. 642, Area B, Wright-Patterson AFB OH. This study supports assessment of the relative cost effectiveness and affordability of alternatives for sustaining the U.S. Air Force's Combat Search and Rescue (CSAR) capability and may result in the replacement of the HH-60G beginning in the 2007 timeframe. This industry conference is open to all interested parties. 2. In order to adequately plan and support this conference, those companies planning to attend must supply a list of attendees including full names, job titles, and country of citizenship. Written notification of attendance and attendee information must be received no later than November 5, 1999. Notification should be mailed to: ASC/LUH (Mr. George Boyette) Building 46, 2275 D St. Wright-Patterson AFB OH, 45433-7233 or e-mailed to: George.Boyette@asclu.wpafb.af.mil If attendee substitutions are necessary, notification must be made no later than November 15, 1999. All foreign sources (including Canadian sources) planning to attend must contact ASC/SYSR, Ms. Aggie Sansone, (937) 255-5032 to ensure they follow the correct procedures to gain timely base access. Since the approval process normally takes 30 days, as a minimum, requests to attend must be provided as soon as possible. 3. A list of attendees will be supplied to Gate 1B, Area B, WPAFB to allow access to the base. Anyone not on the list and foreign representatives will be required to process formally through the Visitor Center at Gate 1B. Government personnel must escort foreign representatives while on base. 4. The conference will open at 0800 for registration and the briefings will begin at 0830 on November 17 1999. Prior to the start of the conference, the detailed agenda will be distributed via the Internet on the Pre-award Information eXchange System (PIXS) (http://www.pixs.wpafb.af.mil/pixslibr/CSAR/CSAR.a sp). Generally, the agenda will include an overview of the mission area, operational need, analysis process, and a request for information. 5. The second day will be available for one-on- one question and answer sessions for all parties/teams that anticipate they will submit complete concepts/alternatives. Each one-on- one session will be scheduled to last a maximum of 50 minutes, the first 10 minutes (maximum) for a marketing presentation, if desired, with the remaining 40 minutes for questions and answers. One-on-one sessions will be held between 0900 -- 1700, November 18, 1999. Schedule and times are dependent on the number of interested parties/teams and will be supplied prior to November 17, 1999.
