Michael Dodd, SEA 02522, (703) 602-8000 Ext 568 The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends to issue orders on multiple occasions for a period of up to three years under a new Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N00024-99-G-5228 with Raytheon Systems Company of 1847 West Main Road, Portsmouth, RI 02871-1087. Orders will be issued for repairs (including emergency repairs), test and evaluation, and alteration and overhaul to the AN/SPS-49(V) Radar System. This includes all materials and services incidental to such work, such as repair parts, components, accessories, documentation, associated tools, necessary packing, packaging and marking, storage, inventory functions and shipping and handling. In appropriate cases, any repair, alteration, or overhaul may be handled by the issuance of an order to determine the extent of work that the Contractor may be required to provide. Raytheon is the original designer, developer, and sole manufacturer of the AN/SPS-49 Radar System. Therefore, no other firm possesses the technical expertise required to perform the work that will be required by the Government. This BOA will be issued pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1).
