Postal Service is soliciting proposals to furnish and install a new security system at the Waterbury, CT Processing & Distribution Center at 135 Grand St. in Hartford. The estimated cost of the work is between $75,000.00 and $125,000.00, with completion within one hundred twenty (120) calendar days after receipt of notice to proceed. The successful contractor must provide proof of three years experience installing security systems of similar size and scope and five (5) references from other security projects. Award will be made to the lowest qualified offeror. Sealed offers will be received in this office prior to, but no later than, 4:00 p.m. on November 16, 1999. Offers will not be publicly opened. The number of offers received, the identity of the offerors, the amount of any offer, or relative standing of the offerors WILL NOT BE DISCLOSED TO ANYONE until award of contract is made.
