The Coastal Systems Station, Dahlgren Division, NSWC, Panama City, Florida intends to enter into a sole source contract Caterpillar, Inc., 14009 Old Galena Rd, Mossville, IL 61552 for the support of the Rigid Inflatable Boat (RIB) engines. Original equipment manufacturer (OEM) parts will be procured to support engine/propulsion systems used on the RIB boats. Procurement of OEM parts is required to maintain the warranty status of the supported systems. These systems are commercial items originally produced by and under warranty by these manufacturers. The manufacturer's commercial parts catalogs will serve as the basic parts list that may be purchased under the resultant contracts. Commercial item contracts are anticipated.
