R -- The U.S. Department of Commerce/NOAA/Marine Chart Division intends to procure Consulting Services from Morris Rosenberg. Task to include but not limited to assisting the Marine Chart Division in the inspection and registration of pre-press negatives for nautical chart production. In addition, the proposed contractor shall: (1) Examine pre-press reproducibles produced by negative engravers or electronic plotter. (2) Certify that pre-press negatives meet critical requirements, established lithographic standards and specifications for nautical charts. (3) Insure that printing quality and registration of negatives are acceptable for nautical chart production. (4) Physically register all negatives so that all colors will fit on chart. (5) Ensure that negatives fit those plates used in production of previous edition of chart. This is a notice of intent. No solicitation package exits.
