DESCRIPTION -- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The combined Synopsis/Request for Quotation (RFQ) number is AMSTAC-MIT0-1200. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 90-46, dated 17 Mar 97. The associated standard industrial classification code is 7379, with a size standard of $18.0 million. The requirement is for 1 year of project maintenance on a natural disaster recovery program turned over by Comdisco, Inc. to TACOM, Warren, MI and to Selfridge ANG Base in 1995. The project type maintenance consists of site visits by this contractor to ensure operability of the program and to effect maintenance updates on the Comdisco ComPas software that is an integral part of the program. No options will be included. Services are for TACOM/AMSTA-CM-ITD, Warren, MI, and the performance period will begin 10/01/99. FOB Destination will apply.
