Jackson, Contracting Officer at 202/663-4214 On-site, On-call Nationwide Remedial and Preventive Maintenance Service for all Charge Data System (CDS) Application Computer Servers, Megaplex Units and Interface Cards, and Laser Printers located at 75 Field Offices of the Fair Employment Practices Agencies (FEPA). The contractor shall have nationwide maintenance capabilities and be able to service all 75 FEPA locations. The principal manufacturer of the Computer Servers is Dell Computer Products and the server models are the PowerEdge 5100-2, 2100, 2200, and 2300. The principal manufacturer of the laser printers is Hewlett Packard and the models are the Laserjet IIID and Laserjet 4000T. The principal manufacturer of the Megaplex Units is Equinox and the model is Megaplex 96 CMX-24D. Remedial Maintenance Service shall include problem diagnosis and repair or replacement of defective parts and/or peripherals. Preventive Maintenance shall include cleaning, inspections, and adjustments as specified by the original equipment manufacturer. Service shall beavailable during normal business hours (9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, local time, Monday through Friday, excluding holidays observed by the Government). The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission requires two levels of response time based upon the type of equipment. Level 1 response time shall not exceed four business hours from receipt by the contractor of the maintenance call request. Level 2 response time shall not exceed eight business hours from receipt by the contractor of the maintenance request. Quantity Indefinite. Duration of the contract period is twelve months, with options to extend performance up to 36 months. Closing Response Date: December 06, 1999, or 30 days after issuance of Solicitation.
