intends to issue Delivery Orders against an existing Basic Ordering
Agreement to renew FEDLINK subscriptions with OCLC Information
Services, Inc. for the Government Library Community for the continued
use and access of their database system. OCLC offers interactive,
contributory use of computer file systems. Users interact with the
utility's system to conduct library operations such as cataloging,
interlibrary loan, acquisitions, serial control, union listing and
reference functions. OCLC provides a computerized system for creating
and maintaining a regularly updated database of bibliographic holdings
and other information which is accessible primarily through an online
telecommunications network devised and operated by OCLC. Service will
be continued through September 30, 2000. WRITTEN RESPONSES SHOULD
INCLUDE PRICES AND TECHNICAL DATA SUFFICIENT TO DETERMINE CAPABILITY.
No telephone calls will be accepted. No award will be based on any
offer or proposal received in response tothis notice. No solicitation
