Q -- SOLICITATION OF VENDORS TO EXHIBIT HEALTHCARE PRODUCTS AND/OR SERVICES AT THE TRICARE CONFERENCE, JANUARY 31, 2000 THROUGH FEBRUARY 3, 2000 The Department of Defense (DoD), Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense (Health Affairs)(OASD(HA)), the Executive Director, TRICARE Management Activity (TMA) and the Surgeons General of the Military Departments are seeking up to 118 vendors to exhibit healthcare products and/or services at the TRICARE Conference, January 31, 2000 through February 3, 2000, at the Marriott Wardman Park Hotel, 2660 Woodley Road NW, Washington, D. C. The emphasis of the TRICARE Conference is on fiscal policy, preventative medicine, military readiness, clinical management and administrative aspects of healthcare. Products or services must be applicable to management and/or delivery of healthcare within the DoD managed care environment. Additional information regarding the nature of exhibits sought will be provided in the exhibitor prospectus. Exhibit space will consist of 8' X 10' booths with pipe and drape. The OASD(HA) and the TMA will make exhibitor selections based on applicability to the conference focus and topical areas, as well as the order of receipt of completed applications. All arrangements will be made through the conference support contractor, Standard Technology, Inc.
