a prospective offeror and to extend the due date for receipt of
quotations to October 22, 1999. 1. Q) Is dewar rental included in the
price of the gas? 1. A) No. Demurrage charges will start 30 days after
receipt at destination and continue until company is notified for
pick-up. 2. Q) What are the product specifications for liquid helium?
2. A) 99.998% purity. 3. Q) What is the approximate usage for each
dewar? Are one or more sizes used predominantly? 3. A) Each order
generally runs from 2-12 dewars, with 2 being very low and 12 high. 9
is probably a good average. The 100 liter dewars are used most often,
with 60 liters used the next most frequently, some 30 liters used and
