Military personnel. It was manned by 2 GS-5 and military. 2) Clarification on shower soap: -- Shower stalls have 18 wall mounted liquid soap dispensers. Dispensers are made for 500-milliliter, liquid soap packages. Dispensers can also handle 800-milliliter packages if taken out of their boxes. Each dispenser lasts approximately one week. Total monthly amount is approximately 72 containers. 3) Who were the previous employees: Please call Lori Robarge for names and phone numbers 4) Are there any other cleaning solutions required? None, there is a janitorial contractor who does the major cleaning. 5) What isthe wage determination base for the current staff and staff that will be required for the contract? See clause FAR 52.222-42, Statement of Equivalent Rates for Federal Hires in syn/sol. Square footage is 19,000. 9) Cleaning Solution, how much is used? About 5 gallons of bleach per month. 10) What is minor maintenance? See AF MAN 34-137 paragraphs 8.5, 8.8, 8.11, amd 8.4 thru 8.4.3.6. Web site: HTTP://WWW.DYESS.AF.MIL/PDO/ 11) What is flow of operations- do people have to sign in? -- Customers are free to come and go in the facility. Contractor is only to be concerned if customers have questions or need assistance pertaining to the facility, programs or equipment. Additionally, contractors are responsible for correcting customers who are abusing or incorrectly using equipment. Contractor will refer customers to the fitness center for questions beyond their realm of responsibility or knowledge. 12) Where is main access? There are 2 front doors. 13) What about the ice maker? Ice machine must be cleaned in accordance with the manufacturers instructions. 14) Clarification: Fitness incentive programs are offered to customers (normally four). Contractors are responsible for having knowledge of the programs to include rules and types of programs. Contractor will maintain mileage and/or progression logs associated with the programs. Contractor will be trained on such programs by the fitness center staff. 15) Clarification: Minor main on Mt. Everst is taking off rocks and cleaning them on the manufactures recommendations. Manufactures recommended maintenance schedules will be provided during the transition phase of the contract. 16) What about TVs? Televisions will be turned on by contractors upon opening and shut off upon closing. If conflicts arise with customers concerning stations to be viewed, contractor may attempt to resolve conflict. If unsuccessful, contractor will contact the fitness center. 17) Clarification: Contractor will maintain equipment reservation logs. Fitness center staff will train contractor on procedures. 18) Clarification: Government furnished Walkmans, CD players and heart rate monitors are made available for checkout. These items are marked by letters to distinguish between government and personally owned equipment. 19) How many people need to be in the building? The number of contract employees to be on duty at one time to accomplish the tasks required by the contract is left to the judgment of the contractor. Government does not tell the contractor how to do the job, but what needs to be accomplished. The past employees were civilians with GS-5 ratings. 20) Is this strictly facility management? Yes, no personal programs are needed. Government has programs already in place. 21) Is there a requirement for users to get certified on equipment? No. 22) Clarification: Massage certificatesare also sold at the customer service desk. 23) Clarification: Contractor has the freedom to request I.D. when the situation warrants, i.e., customers are obviously or appear to be under age. 24) Clarification: Contractors are responsible for securing a total of three doors. Doors are located in the following areas: Two doors are located on the North East side of building and one is located on the East side. 25) Is current staff staying?
