USDA Forest Service, Region 3, Western Zone Contracting & Property. Project consists of maintaining approximately 378 miles of Forest Service native surface roads. Work includes maintaining cross slopes, shoulders, dips, all ditches, berms and turnouts, providing surface smoothness, cleaning catch basin, culvert ends, lead out ditches and pitching rocks from the roadway. Roads are located on the Tonto National Forest within Maricopa, Gila, Pinal and Yavapai Counties, Arizona. Contractor shall have 240 calendar days to complete the project. Work is estimated to begin January 2000. Offerors shall submit written quotations on SF-18 in accordance with solicitation instructions.
