The Marine Corps Systems is seeking qualified businesses which may be able to provide the Marine Corps with Trijicon Compact ACOG Sights. A combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items has been prepared in accordance with Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation M67854-00-R-2020 is being issued as a Request for Proposal. This solicitation document incorporates Provisions and Clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular #97-12. In accordance with FAR Provision 52.212-2, the Government will award and Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract, for the period from the date of award through 20 October 2000, resulting from this solicitation the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price, ability to meet product specifications and time to delivery considered. Contract line items for the IDIQ contract are as follows: CLIN 0001: 20/each MIN 120/each MAX Trijicon 1.5X24mm Compact Advanced Combat Optical Gun (ACOG) Sight (Trijicon Part # TA45R-4; Brand Name Only); CLIN 0002: 20/each MIN 120/each MAX Trijicon ACOG Rail Mount (Trijicon Part # TA60; Brand Name Only) Upon award of the IDIQ contract a delivery order shall be issued for the minimum quantities stated above. Delivery shall be made to Marine Corps Combat Development Command, Marine Corps Warfighting Laboratory, Attn: Capt TJ Walker (Metropolis), 3255 Meyers Avenue, Suite 214, Quantico, VA 22134. The following provisions apply to this acquisition: 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial; 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items; and 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statues or Executive Orders-Commercial Items.
