This announcement constitutes the solicitation. Quotes are solicited with this notice. The quotation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 97-13. The Television-Audio Support Activity proposes to procure: two-hundred sixty-nine digital zoom camera, filmless; Macintosh and PC compatible; includes software & cables for both MAC and WINDOWS, 8MB Smartmedia card, four each NIMH size AA rechargeable batteries, and 110/120volt AC adapter/battery charger, Olympus Model C-2000, Part Number 225105; and three hundred forty-seven photographic PC memory card, PCMCIA; memory storage capacity: 32MB; Model Smartmedia, Olympus Part Number: 200556. Delivery requirements: a minimum quantity of sixty (60) each cameras must be available for delivery to the FOB site NLT November 8, 1999. FOB: Fleet Imaging Command, San Diego, California. The Government anticipates negotiating and entering into an award on a sole source basis with Olympus America, Inc., Two Corporate Center Drive, Melville, New York, 11747-3157, or their authorized representatives, by the authority permitted at FAR 13.501. All responsible sources may submit a quote which shall be considered by the agency. Offeror's proposing to provide other than the requested item shall include specification data sufficient to enable the Government to determine the capability of the offered item to meet the specifications stated above.
