The Directorate of Contracting, Ft. Huachuca is seeking sources to provide two (2) fully operational ruggidized digital communications switches/servers. Must be COTS, include a perpetual license for all software provided with the system, capable of connection to and routing of various military RF and network based communications systems for over-the-air, two-way distribution of digitally formatted data. Data includes field generated data (digital messages and imagery) transmitted over RF links and national intelligence data transmitted over SIPRNET. The vendor shall demonstrate connectivity between SIPRNET and the military long haul communications architecture. The digital switch shall provide physical, electrical and link level interfaces for up to 6 designated secure radio frequency communications systems and provide communications between systems with compatible message sets. The 6 radios may be any combination of AN/PSC-5, LST-5D, AN/PRC-138B/5800, AN/PRC 118(SINCGARS), or other JTA compliant systems, in all operational modes. The integrated digital switch and server systems shall provide connectivity of data between to the radio systems and the Tactical Internet. The server shall support up to 8 terminals operating in a Windows compliant LAN operating environment, which may be configured to support various functions. The system shall be able to operate independent of external power for up to 8 hours and as well as utilizing worldwide ac/dc power sources as a prime power source and recharging medium. All software and hardware options shall be clearly identified including internal and removable storage capacities. Identified functions include: JTA compliant text messaging, collection databases/analytic workstations (i.e., CHATS, ASAS/ASAS Light) at national, operational and tactical levels, Sensor management, data retrieval, and distribution (OMNISENSE), Surveillance reporting (Digital RSTA) and imagery dissemination.
