Contract Specialist, 202-324-3765 The Federal Bureau of Investigation
(FBI), New York Field Office, has a need to obtain a variety of
newspaper subscriptions to be delivered Monday through Friday
(including editions for Saturdays/Sundays and Holidays), to 26 Federal
Plaza, 23rd Floor, New York, New York. Multiple subscribers
established by the FBI will require separate billings and deliveries
for each account. This contract will be an Indefinite
Delivery-Indefinite Quantity requirement with a base year plus two (2)
additional one year options. This contract will be awarded in the
aggregate (all or none) as a commercial item under Simplified
Acquisition Procedures as Request For Quote (RFQ) Number 804370. This
is a 100% small business-small purchase set-aside, with SIC Number
2711, and the business size standard is 500 employees. (1) The
contractor shall deliver the following newspapers by 6:15 a.m. Monday
through Friday (including editions for Saturdays/Sundays and Holidays
delivered on the next business workday) and during inclement weather in
the estimated quantities of : 159 each New York Times, 50 each
Washington Posts, 65 each Wall Street Journals, 25 each USA Todays, 5
each Christian Science Monitors, 97 each New York Daily News, 82 each
New York Posts, 36 each Newsdays, 16 each Slovos, 1 each Brooklyn
Heights Paper, 1 each Park Slope Paper, 2 each Queens Gazettes (Zones
1 & 2), 1 each Bayridge Paper, 10 each Staten Island Advances
(afternoon edition shall be delivered the next business workday), 5
each N.J. Star Ledgers, 5 each Boston Globes, and 7 each Journal News.
(2) The contractor shall deliver the following newspapers by 6:15 a.m.
every Wednesday (including editions for Holidays delivered on the next
business workday) and during inclement weather in the estimated
quantities of: 3 each Village Voices, and 1 each Jewish Press. (3) The
contractor shall deliver the following newspapers by 6:15 a.m. every
Thursday (including editions for Holidays delivered on the next
business workday) and during inclement weather in the estimated
quantities of: 1 each Amsterdam News. (4) Newspapers shall be bundled,
labeled, packaged, and billed separately on each account. F.O.B. New
York. An award will be made to the most technically acceptable
responsive offer using a best value analysis. Technical considerations
and past performance are significantly more important than price.
