The U.S. Coast Guard will be issuing a solicitation for Inmarsat Services for Coast Guard Island tenant commands. The contractor shall provide ship-to-ship communications via standard telephone sets, facsimile, and data communications via the Inmarsat satellite system. Calls will terminate on existing Inmarsat Standard-A, Standard-B and Mini-M Terminals installed on U.S. Coast Guard vessels. Performance shall be in accordance with the standards contained in the Statement of Work and applicable purchase order clauses contained in the solicitation. This solicitation is a set-aside 100% for small business. The SIC Code is 3663. The small business size standard is 750 Employees. The contract type will be Firm Fixed Price. The contract period will be from date of award through 30 September 2000. The solicitation will be issued on or about 12 November 1999, and shall close on or about 30 November 1999.
