The VA Central Iowa Health Care System, Knoxville Division, Knoxville, Iowa is soliciting proposals to establish nine peer-assisted residence (PAR) homes for veterans of the Veterans Integrated Services Network (VISN 14). A PAR home is defined as a residential home for homeless veterans who are in recovery. The home is peer-run and provides a supportive substance-free environment. Homes will be provided as set out in the statement of work for areas located in Grand Island, Nebraska, Lincoln, Nebraska, Omaha, Nebraska/Council Bluffs, Iowa, Des Moines, Iowa and Iowa City, Iowa.
