Gantt, 202/512-2709 The U.S. General Accounting Office (GAO) seeks qualified sources to provide commercial facilities management services for the GAO Headquarters, Washington, D.C. The successful contractor shall provide all necessary management supervision, labor, materials, and equipment to perform commercial facilities management services which will include: tenant alterations (small scale in-house facilities alterations), operation and maintenance of building mechanical and electrical equipment, elevator maintenance, architectural and structural maintenance and repair, janitorial services, pest control, snow removal, trash removal (includes recycling), landscape maintenance, indoor plant maintenance, moving services, interior design services, and major alterations and repair projects (large scale subcontracted projects). The GAO Headquarters Building has 1,956,000 gross square feet of space. Services will run for a period of one (1) year with the Government's unilateral option to renew for four additional one-year periods.
