Contractor to provide Durable Medical Equipment (DME) required by patients approved/referred by Cherokee Indian Hospital physicians on a rental basis. This equipment is restricted to medical supplies not immediately available from GSA/FSS. Alternate resources such as Medicare, Medicaid, VA, etc., shall be billed before IHS,Cherokee Indian Hospital is billed. 2.) a respiratory therapist must be available 24 hours to set-up equipment ie, Nebulizer, oxygen, C-pap machine. Nebulizer supplies and medications are supplied by the hospital. Medicare will pay for 2 Neb sets per month and Medicaid will pay for 1 Neb set per month. 3.) a Maintenance technician must be available 24 hours for any needed equipment maintenance.
