DESC: Provide packing, containerization, storage, and local drayage services for outbound/inbound shipments and intra-area moves of household goods and unaccompanied baggage for military members and civilian employees, within a 100 mile radius of Fort Drum, New York. The contractors shall be required to maintain a warehouse facility within the borders of four county areas of Jefferson, Lewis, Oswego and St. Lawrence County, NY, to be eligible for award. The contract type shall be "Firm Fixed Priced Requirements Contract, with Option years. This will be an 100% Small Business Set-aside under SIC code 4783, which will be procured using Simplified Commercial Acquisition procedures under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation parts 12, 13, 17, and 19. The anticipated issue/posting date will be on or about 22 Oct 1999. Note: The DUE DATE for the Request For Quote (RFQ) shall be 15 days after actual issuance/posting date (The RFQ will be posted on Fort Drums web page).
