Z -- This project consists of abrasive blast cleaning and painting all of the metalwork of the bridge and performing miscellaneous steel repairs. Prior to contract award, the painting contractor will be required to sumbit evidence of being certified in accordance with "The Society of Protective Coatings", SSPC QPl and SSPC QP2. Structural steel repairs will be performed including replacement of deteriorated steel bolts, rivets, lacing bars, gratings, ladders, and miscellaneous plates and shapes. This project also includes performing miscellaneous, mechanical and electrical rehabilitation work. This project is 100% set-aside for small businesses. The estimated cost of this work is between $5,000,000.00 and $10,000,000.00. Work shall be completed within 570 calendar days after receipt of a notice to proceed.
