Project consists of maintaining approximately 79 miles of Forest Service Level II (passable by high clearance vehicle) native surface roads. Work includes maintaining cross slopes, shoulders, dips, all ditches, berms and turnouts, providing surface smoothness, cleaning catch basin, culvert ends, lead out ditches and pitching roads from the roadway. Roads are alocated on the Tonto National Forest within Maricopa, Gila, and Pinal Counties, Arizona. Contractor shall have 160 calendar days to complete the project. Work is estimated to begin January 2000. Offerors shall submit written quotations on SF-18 in accordance with solicitation instructions.
