The work to be performed consists of the following: (a) designing, manufacturing, furnishing, shop testing, delivering, installing and field testing four replacement digital-electronic governor systems and appurtenant parts for the hydraulic turbines; (b) furnish drawings and data; and (c) conduct training sessions to Government personnel on the operation and maintenance of the new equipment. The equipment will be installed at the Yellowtail Powerplant, which is located on the Big Horn River, Big Horn County about 43 miles south-west of Hardin, Montana. The bid opening date is tentatively scheduled for January 25, 2000, at the Bureau of Reclamation, Great Plains Regional Office, Room 2031, 316 North 26th Street, Billings, Montana. There is no charge for the first copy of the solicitation, additional sets may be provided upon receipt of a nonrefundable check or money order of $9.00 each.
