The Bureau of the Census is seeking information from contractors on an Interactive Voice Response (IVR) software package that meets the following criteria: 1. Works with existing Private Branch Exchange (PBX) Nortel Merdian 1 Option 81C. Potential to network the existing PBX with two additional Nortel Merdian 1 Option 61C and Nortel Meridian 11C switches (at remote locations). Allowances for flexibility and expansion. 2. Provides call routing. 3. Supports variable data inputs. 4. ODBC compliant. 5. Provides technical support mechanism on-site, via telephone on a 24 hour, 7 day week basis. 6. Options to integrate with fax and/or print on demand technologies. TECHNICAL INFORMATION WE SEEK FROM THE CONTRACTOR SHOULD EXPLAIN: 1. How the software package accommodates the above items. 2. Recommended hardware configuration to support 48-port peak call volume (with incremental expansion options). 3. Application development and/or training opportunities. 4. Use of external programming languages,if any required. 5.Provisions for managerial (MIS) reports such as call logging, call volume, and application level summaries. 6. A list of references.
