The Social Security Administration (SSA) is seeking vendors who can provide nationwide maintenance and relocation services for SSA's inventory of approximately 12,000 components of TAP equipment (IBM terminals,associated hardware and microcode) located throughout the US, including Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico, Guam, American Samoa, Virgin Islands and Mariana Islands. The following is a listing of IBM models for SSA's TAP inventory: controllers: 3174/01R, 3174/11R, 3174/51R, 3274/C41, and 3274/C61; terminals: 3179/100, 3192/C10, 3472/FC1, 3472/HC1, and 3482/HC1; and printers: 3268/002, 4224/XO1, 4224/2O1, 4224/2O2, and 4230/202. Feature codes for some of the controllers include: 1014,1048,1056,3020,3044,3103,3299,and 6101. Responsible organizations possessing the requisite expertise and resources are invited to submit information concerning their pricing, capabilities, experience, and other pertinent data (including GSA contract information if applicable). RESPONSES TO THIS ANNOUNCEMENT ARE DUE BY NOVEMBER 10, 1999 and should be submitted to the address noted in the beginning of this announcement.
