A -- ASSAULT AMPHIBIOUS VEHICLE (AAV) SURVIVABILITY DATA DEVELOPMENT POC Mr. John Martin, Contracting Officer, (703) 492-3329 The Marine Corps Systems Command intends to award a simplified acquisition purchase order to Signature Research Incorporated, P.O. Box 346, Calumet, MI 49913 to develop survivability data on the Marine Corps Assault Amphibious Vehicle (AAV) Reliability, Availability, Maintainability/Rebuild to Standard (RAM/RS) and AAV- Improved (I) versions. The Contractor shall use the Physically Reasonable Infrared Signature Model (PRISM) to perform thermal infrared survivability modeling for all aspects and elevation angles around the AAV RAM/RS and AAV(I) models in land mode The data shall be delivered to the Office of the Direct Reporting Program Manager -- Advanced Amphibious Assault for use in support of the Advanced Amphibious Assault Vehicle (AAAV) Program Milestone II. Signature Research Incorporated is considered to be uniquely qualified for this effort because the company is currently performing this effort for the AAAV and can easily transition to develop the same kind of data for the AAV RAM/RS and AAV(I).
