The Federal Correctional Institution (FCI), complex located at 3600 Guard Road, Lompoc, California 93436 is soliciting for (2)dental assistants. A licensed providers with the capability of providing dental assistant care to federal prisoners. The contractor will provide dental assistant services in the form of dental and clerical. This will include assisting the dentist in all aspects of dental care to include knowledge of dental terminology; taking patient history's; document of treatment; mixing and handling dental materials; processing and mounting intraoral radiographs; providing patient oral hygiene education; clerical duties to include maintaining daily appointments, daily log sheets, monthly and quarterly statistics. Services to be provided Monday through Friday between the hours 7:30am to 4:00pm every week. (Excluding federal holidays). Services will be required for a one year base period, with four-one (1) year option periods for a total of sixty months from the date of award. The estimate quantities for each 12 month period of the contract are as follows; estimate of 1,560 annuaaly. One session shall consist of (1) hour (sixty minutes).
