OF REQUIREMENT -- The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC)
requires the services of a qualified contractor to record, transcribe
and furnish transcriptions on a nationwide basis. These tasks will be
required at advisory board and committee meetings, conferences,
courthouse and/or legal proceedings, depositions, arbitration hearings,
personnel grievance and appeal hearings, as well as other
administrative hearings. The contractor may be required to work
overtime hours and/or weekends and holidays. Authorized travel expenses
will be paid in accordance with OCC travel regulations. SIC CODE/SMALL
BUSINESS SET-ASIDE/WAGE DETERMINATION -- The SIC Code is 7338 and size
standard is $5.0 (based on average annual receipts for the three most
recent fiscal years). This requirement is a 100% small business
set-aside and is subject to the Service Contract Act of 1965, as
amended. The exact places of performance are unknown; however, wage
determinations have been requested for OCC_s headquarters, Washington,
DC, and six district locations: Atlanta, New York City, Chicago,
Kansas City, Dallas and San Francisco. The contracting officer will
request wage determinations for additional possible places of
performance, when they become known, if asked to do so in writing. HOW
TO ACQUIRE A COPY OF THE SOLICITATION -- The OCC anticipates issuing
the solicitation on or about November 4, 1999. The solicitation
document will contain the details of OCC_s court reporting
requirements, the instructions for submitting a quotation, and how the
quotations will be evaluated. FAX your request for solicitation

responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by
the OCC. OCC anticipates awarding a contract on or about December 15,
1999 using the simplified acquisition process under the Test Program
