20 -- FARING ANGLE AND ASSOCIATED HARDWARE FOR SDRW-1 TYPE CONFIGURATIOIN -- !! SOL N00024-00-C-6334 POC POC: Sonja Truehart-McKinney, Contract Specialist (703) 602-0951 x638, Contracting Officer, Jim Watts, 703-602-0951 x636 NAVAL SEA SYSTEMS COMAND (NAVSEA), Program Executive Office for UnderSea Warfare (PEO(USW)), Surface Ship ASW Combat System intends to issue a request for proposal to ENFAB, Inc. 3424 State Route 309, Iberia, Ohio 43325 for a basic quantity of seven (7) Fairing Angle and Associated hardware for SDRW-1 type configuration. The required delivery for the basic is four (4) months to ten (10) months after contract award. There will be four (4) options with a remaining requirement of twelve (12) Fairing Angle and Associated hardware. The options, if exercised, will require delivery commencing four (4) months to six (6) months after the option is exercised. This procurement will satisfy the remaining AEGIS DDG51 new construction requirements for Fairing Angles and associated Hardware. ENFAB is the only firm that possesses the required tooling and expertise to provide the Navy the needed effort and supplies within the required timeframe. The hardware was previously provided under contract N00024-95-C-6207 by Iberia Fabricators, Inc. who subsequently went out of business and sold their assets to ENFAB, Inc.
