intent of this solicitation is to request prices for a supplier's
Trucks, Firefighting line. The Government anticipates continued
recurring demand for these items. The anticipated contract type is to
be a Commercial Requirements Type Contract. Multiple Award Contracts
will be placed with vendors for their individual product line. Product
line is to include, but is not limited to the following: 1. Pumpers:
Rescue Pumpers; Attack Pumpers; Structural Pumpers. 2. Tankers. 3.
Rescue Vehicles: Heavy Rescue, Walk-in and non walk-in; Medium Rescue;
Light Rescue. 4. Aerials: Aerial Quint; Aerial Ladders; Aerial
Platforms; Aerial Pumper. 5. Aircraft Rescue Firefighting Vehicle;
Crash Recue Vehicle. 6. Brush Fire Trucks; Wildfire Trucks; Command
Vehicles; Haz-mat Attacker; Airport Quick Attack Trucks. 7. Glider Kits
for firefighting apparatus as an option to
renovating/refurbishing/overhauling older vehicles or wrecked vehicles.
The supplier(seller) shall sell to the buyer the items set forth in the
supplier's commercial catalog. Such items may be referred to as
"Products or end products" hereafter. Supplier may sell to the buyer
any items and services incidental to the end product and any add-on
items, as needed, to customize a piece of equipment to conform to the
customer's requirements and meet their needs. Services may include, but
not be limited to, repair, installation, training, and extended
warranties. Items may include, but not be limited to, the sale of
repair parts, options, attachments and add-ons. The term of the
resulting contracts will be a three year base with 3, two-year options
and 1, one-year option. Anticipated possible 10 year totalcontract
term. Delivery shall be in accordance with the supplier's best
commercial practice. Drawings are not required. This is an unrestricted
acquisition. It is subject to the Trade Agreements Act. Delivery to
CONUS(excluding Alaska). In order to be considered for award based upon
this solicitation the supplier must be registered in the DOD Central
