In accordance with FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, The Contracts Department of the Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, San Diego, intends to procure any and/or all types of valves listed under FSC 4810. Contract will be a firm fixed price indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity type contract for one base year with three, 1-year options. Contract will be a Direct Vendor Delivery (DVD) contract. Orders may be placed against this contract by various Government agencies. Any offeror responding to this announcement must be able to support use of the Government Credit Card in placing orders. This is an unrestricted procurement, all responsible sources may submit an offer. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be posted by 10 November 1999 on the FISC-SD web link below. The solicitation will also be available on the Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO) web link http://www.neco.navy.mil. It is the responsibility of the interested parties to independently review the referenced web links frequently for updates to any and all documents.
