53 -- SOCKET HEAD CAP SCREWS SOL N68335-00-M-0045 POC William Zeiger 732-323-5373 The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst intends to procure 572 socket head cap screws, part # 509440-2452A. Each finished part shall be 100 percent magnetic particle inspected in accordance with ASTM E1444 using the wet or dry method of fluorescent or non-fluorescent particle application. The method of magnetization must be circular and longitudinal, and the parts must meet the requirements of MPR-1072. Each finished part requires heat treat and material certifications. All certifications shall be delivered with the finished material. The heat-treated bolts shall be in accordance with MIL-H-6875 to RH C32 to C37. All finished bolts shall be subjected to 100 percent sampling. The delivery schedule requires 44 screws to be delivered ASAP and the balance within 30 days after award of contract. The contract will be a firm fixed price. Inspection /acceptance will occur at source. All finished bolts are to be shipped FOB Destination; Lakehurst, NJ. 100 % option to be exercised no later than 6 months after date of contract.
