Krug, 860-694-4563 The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment and management for the PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE AND REPAIRS TO VARIOUS OVERHEAD CRANES at the Naval Submarine Base New London, Groton, CT. The Government intends to award a combination firm fixed price indefinite quantity type contract for a base plus four option year periods to be exercised at the Government's descretion without further notice under FAR Clause 52.217-8 Option to Extend Services. The solicitation will be considered for a 100% Hub Zone set-aside. Interested Hub Zone concerns that meet the criteria must indicate their interest by submitting evidence of their capability to perform (three references with names, phone numbers, and contract numbers). If adequate interest is not received from Hub Zone concerns within 15 days of this notice, the solicitation will be issed unrestriced without further notice. The Sic Code is 8999(Services, N.E.C.). Bidders interested in obtaining plans and specifications for this project must submit their request with a Certified Cashier's Check, or Money Order in the amount of $11.00 to Defense Automated Printing Service (DAPS), Box 40, Building 83, Naval Submarine Base New London, Groton, CT 06340-5040. Each check must be made payable to the Superintendent of Documents and annotated with the applicable solicitation number. One set of plans and specifications will be sent via First Class U.S. Mail upon availability to those contractors who have rendered payment. Checks not made payable to the Superintendent of Documents, or not annotated with the solicitation number will be returned unprocessed. NO PERSONNEL OR COMPANY CHECKS WILL BE ACCEPTED, NO PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS WILL BE ISSUED UNTIL PROPER PAYMENT HAS BEEN RECEIVED.
